Project / calculation engineer
We are looking to strengthen our team for a long-term permanent position at our location in Naarn, Upper Austria.
Tasks
- Pipe static calculations according to current standards
- Classification of pipe systems according to PED
- Creation of pipe classes
- Calculation of individual pipe elements (wall thickness of pipes, branches, cut-outs, bases, flanges, blind covers)
- Optimization of piping systems
- Specification of special pipe parts
- Documentation of the calculations
- FEM calculations (ANSYS), mechanical structural analyses
- Structural analysis of secondary steel structures
- Calculation of anchorages on concrete with Hilti program
- Coordination with design and construction as well as end customers
Qualifications
- Technical education (TU/FH or HTL with experience)
- Very good knowledge of SIGMA Pipe 2 or CAESAR II
- Very good MS-Office user skills
- Very good German and English language skills
- Software knowledge (Ansys FEM, Mathcad, structural analysis programs)
- Understanding in dealing with corresponding standards

A minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement for information and consulting is provided for this position. The actual, attractive salary is based on current market rates. With appropriate qualifications, you will start with a gross annual salary of EUR 49,000.00.
